What is a compressed air network?
A compressed air network involves linking a source of compressed air, i.e. one or more compressors, to a designated distribution points. The structure of PREVOST networks is made of aluminium pipes. These are fixed at a minimum height of 2.5 m from the floor and form the primary loop of the network. From this loop, pipe with a smaller diameter, known as “drops” feed off. Their ends are approximately 1.2 m above the floor. These are compressed air distribution points where equipment such as safety fittings, filters, hoses, etc., can be attached.
The Prevost Piping System range ensures:
• a clean and high-quality air supply
• a leak-free network with an optimised flow rate
• a max operating pressure of 16 bar.
The network will provide a long service life and can easily be configured so each workstation is well supplied, accessible and organised.
